¨Are
you going to Scarborough Fair?
Sounds familiar? Well, for the ones that
don’t know what is this phrase, this phrase is part of the lyrics of a song
that my grandma used to listen when I was 6 six years old. The name of the song
is ¨Scarborough Fair¨ and I still listen to it these days. Supposedly, it is
telling an ancient and magical legend from time ago. The weird thing about this
song is that no one really knows neither the true person who wrote it nor the
original version.

Remember
me to one who lives there
She
must be a true love mine¨
At first, when I saw the book
¨Impossible¨, I wasn´t really sure if I wanted to read it. It didn´t seem
interesting, but then my teacher gave it to me, so i had to read it anyway. I
start reading the first pages, and something got my attention. The name of the
main character was Lucy Scarborough, and also that this story was inspired by
the ballad ¨ Scarborough Fair¨. Then I instantly felt connected with this book
because it remind me of my grandma and when I lived with her many years ago.
¨Impossible¨ is about a girl, Lucy
Scarborough, which has seventeen years and lives with her foster parents.
Lucy´s family have been cursed for generations, and they´ve been forced to
attempt thee impossible tasks. If
they failed, then they became crazy, like Lucy´s real mother. That is why she
lives with foster parents. Now is the turn of Lucy. Her mother tried to warn
her before, but Lucy didn´t listen. She has to succeed to have a normal life
again.

I like the fact that you related to the book because of the song. I thing the books sounds interesting because it seems to have a little mystery.
